IBA Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) Model Papers, Syllabus, and Past Papers in PDF

The new cadre of Early Childhood Teachers (ECT), which is equivalent to (BPS-15), have been introduced by the School Education and Literacy Department (SELD) in 2018. These teachers were appointed in 2018 after passing a written ECT test administered by a third party (IBA). 

If you are from Sindh Province, then here is good news for you. 

The Sindh Education Department is going to recruit Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) again in 2024. 

For this purpose, IBA Sukkur will conduct the test, and the ECT official syllabus, ECT model papers, and ECT past papers will be uploaded here today.

Introduction: 

As the name indicates, Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) are specially appointed for the children. Previously, ECT teachers were appointed by Sindh Education and Literacy Department (SELD) through IBA Sukkur Siba Testing Service (STS) in 2018. 

The ECT paper conducted by IBA Sukkur in 2018 will also be shared here to guide our students properly. 

In 2018, to fill 1,500 open jobs for Early Childhood Teachers (ECT), the school administration has opted to appoint female teachers, as per instructions from Sindh Minister of Education and Culture Syed Sardar Ali Shah. 

To fill the vacant positions of ECT in 2023, the education minister gave the school education department the order to start the process of merit-based appointments through third-party testing (IBA). 

IBA ECT Jobs Eligibility Criteria

The female candidates having Sindh Domicile are eligible to apply for Sindh Education Department Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) jobs.

IBA Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) Official Syllabus | ECT Syllabus 

IBA has announced an official syllabus for the post of ECT Teaching jobs. 

Here is the list of subjects for the paper of Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) paper.

According to the official ECT jobs syllabus, there will be 100 MCQs in the IBA ECT teaching jobs test.

ECT Syllabus have been divided into following subjects 

• Computer and Information Technology (I.T): 10 MCQs 
• General Knowledge (GK): 10 MCQs 
• Pedagogy and Education related 20 MCQs 
• Subject Related: 60 MCQs 

The Format and Syllabus of the ECT Written Exam is: 

 

a) Evaluation of Subject Content Knowledge (2006) ECE Curriculum; general paper on mother tongue.

b) IT skill evaluation to enhance the teaching and learning process.

c) Assessment of understanding of various pedagogies, and instructional planning.
